Success stories
Every story is a step towards a stronger STEM future.
Each programme we fund is part of a deliberate strategy that spans the journey from early education right through to career pathways. Take a look through the stories below to see how we’re building curiosity early, removing barriers, strengthening teachers, and bridging the path from school to career.
Building curiosity through radio and robotics
A unique STEM programme is giving Chisnallwood Intermediate students the chance to build roving robots and working FM radios.
Growing confidence with a cutting-edge tool
The Tait Foundation has fully funded a Thunder laser cutter at Kahikatea Kirkwood school, where up to 1000 students use it each year.
Funding is now open.
We exist to support learning initiatives in science, technology, engineering and maths, and are especially interested in hearing from new applicants.
